Paeton Henare was awarded the Arts Learner of the Year Award for 2025, which she earned through her talent and perseverance. These qualities were shown by the way she carried herself and the work she produced in the arts subjects she took; Art History, Dance and the Visual Arts during her time at Alfriston College.
Always aiming for excellence in the arts, Paeton used her class time wisely, took her work home and seeked feedback to continually push herself and produce high quality work. Paeton’s painting was exhibited in the Rangatahi South exhibition at Papakura Gallery and she performed in multiple AC Dance Showcases.
